Dandelions
Keira Schaefer
I walk outside into the grey sky
Everything around me is dull
Today was a terrible day
A dandelion is in the distance
The white fluffy seeds begin to fly
I smile at the happy memories
My hand gravitates towards the weed
I pick it up and blow
Thousands of seeds fly through the air
Like snowflakes in summer
My once frown is a smile
I spy another
Running towards it
I pluck it out of the ground
I spin around in joy
The seeds soar through the sky
Laying back on the grass
My face breaks into a grin
The simple things
